While we were still preparing to announce the winners of the TibiaMaps.io fansite item contest (expect an update soon!), CipSoft released the 2021 Summer Update! This blog post focuses on what this means for Tibia map explorers. Our map downloads have already been updated to include the new areas in this update.
With the release of this update, CipSoft confirmed to TibiaMaps.io that there are now 3,771,444 walkable tiles in total. (The previous official number was 3,743,620 walkable tiles.) This total consists of 3,765,255 regular tiles and 6,189 conditionally walkable tiles such as quest doors. CipSoft has also shared the total number of unwalkable tiles: 16,520,439 (previously 16,308,039).
Newly discovered areas near Issavi
Beneath the Kilmaresh Southern Steppe lies a newly discovered hunting ground called the Ruins of Nuur. The entrance is around here:

An underwater tunnel near the Ruins of Nuur entrance connects Kilmaresh to the isle of Krailos:
Another new area called the Salt Caves has been discovered beneath the Kilmaresh Green Belt. These Salt Caves can be accessed through here:

Newly discovered areas near Edron/Bounac
On the island of Bounac, two new areas have been discovered (or rather, one big new area divided in two parts). The first is the Bounacean Lion:
Descending further down the depths of this cave, adventurers eventually reach the second new area, The Forest of Life:
New areas accessible via Kazordoon
A new quest that starts in Kazordoon provides access to several newly discovered areas and hunting grounds. The first new hunting ground is Antrum of the Fallen:
The second hunting ground is the Grotto of the Lost:
The third new hunting ground is the Dwelling of the Forgotten:
