Install Tibia maps

Uh-oh! It looks like your browser doesn’t yet support the File System Access API. The installer on this page probably won’t work for you. Try using our downloads instead!

On this page, you can install our Tibia maps straight to your minimap folder, without leaving your browser! No need to manually download anything or to run any executables.

Step 1: close your Tibia client

Installing Tibia maps can only be done reliably while the game client is closed. Make sure to exit the game before proceeding.

Step 2: select your download

Step 3: select your minimap directory

Point us to your minimap folder and give us temporary write access to it. As a reminder, here are the most common locations for the minimap folder:

Note: Current implementations of the File System Access API consider the above directories to be sensitive system directories, and may disallow selecting them 😭 In that case, we recommend creating an intermediary minimap directory in an accessible location (such as your Downloads folder) and manually hardlinking it to Tibia’s real minimap directory. To do so, press Windows + R to open the Windows “Run” dialog and enter cmd. In the command prompt that appears, enter the following:

mklink /J %LOCALAPPDATA%\Tibia\packages\Tibia\minimap %UserProfile%\Downloads\minimap

You only have to do this once; afterwards you can use this page to install (or update) your maps into the intermediary minimap directory.
