Vortices and the Otherworld

Level 999 gate of expertise in Banuta
On the test server, the level 999 gate of expertise in Deeper Banuta was replaced with a skeleton decoration hanging up on a solid wall.
This led some players to panic, thinking CipSoft removed the fabled door from the game in this update. On the real servers however, the gate of expertise is still there after the update.
In hindsight, it really wouldn’t make sense for CipSoft to highlight the gate of expertise in recent blog posts and contests only to subsequently remove it from the game.
The most likely explanation is that CipSoft actually implemented a new area behind the teleport as part of this summer update. To prevent people from getting access to the new area (and thus spoiling the surprise) due to some kind of bug, they temporarily removed the door altogether from the test server.
Kharsek is on track to reach level 999 by the end of this year. If all goes well, he’ll be the first player ever to walk through the door and discover the secret behind the teleport. Hopefully he’ll want to share his maps exploring the new area with us!
Have fun exploring the new areas!
