Maps installation guide for the old Tibia 10 Windows client

The easiest way to install or update the maps used by the old Tibia 10 client on Windows is to use our executable installer. The installer automatically downloads our latest available maps and places them in the correct location. The source code for the installer is available on GitHub.

If for some reason you prefer to do it manually, here’s how that works:

1. Close the Tibia client.
2. Press Windows + R to open the Windows “Run” dialog.
3. Enter %APPDATA%\Tibia and click OK to open the folder containing the Automap folder.
4. Make a backup copy of your Automap folder. This can be done by simply renaming it to Automap-backup.
5. Extract the ZIP file you downloaded. This results in a new Automap folder containing our fully explored maps.
6. Open the Tibia 10 client, log in, and check the in-game minimap to verify the installation succeeded.
