CipSoft released the 2023 Winter Update! This blog post focuses on what this means for Tibia map explorers. For information on other aspects of this update, see the official announcement on Tibia.com or the detail page for the Winter Update 2023 update on TibiaWiki.

Our map downloads have already been updated to include the new areas in this update. As always, we didn’t just map-explore the new areas — we’ve also added countless useful markers to help you smoothly navigate the new areas.

With the release of this update, CipSoft confirmed to TibiaMaps.io that there are now 3,999,924 walkable tiles in total. (The previous official number was 3,964,404 walkable tiles, following the release of the 2023 Summer Update.) This total consists of 3,993,491 regular tiles and 6,433 conditionally walkable tiles such as quest doors. CipSoft has also shared the total number of unwalkable tiles: 17,340,042 (previously 17,128,471).

Bulltaur Lair

A new quest unlocks access to new areas, including the dangerous Bulltaur Lairs. As part of the quest, these hunting grounds can be accessed via a kind of portal near the Plains of Havoc.

Nimmersatt’s Breeding Ground

Another new hunting spawn is Nimmersatt’s Breeding Ground, which can be accessed as part of the same quest via a kind of portal in Zao.

Deeper Iksupan

Another new quest mission unlocks access to previously inaccessible parts of Iksupan: Iksupan Last Stand, Iksupan Occupied Sanctuary, Iksupan Undercity, and Iksupan Waterways.
